The One About Do Over Dogs

Today, host Lindsay Eland, talks with media director, Gina, over at Do Over Dogs, a rescue here in Denver, Colorado. They chat about the mission and vision of Do Over Dogs, Gina’s own inspiring story of finding and adopting her soul dog, and how there is a place for everyone and all skill sets are welcome to help and volunteer at their local rescue and/or shelter!

Do Over Dogs is a foster-based, 501(c)(3) organization that gives at-risk dogs from the shelter environment a second chance at life. We focus our rescue efforts on dogs and puppies that are at high risk of euthanasia.

Here’s what Do Over Dogs has to say about volunteering!

"Want to save sweet pups in need but can't adopt? There's lot of ways to get involved! We

like to say

"If you can't adopt, foster. If you can't foster, sponsor. If you can't sponsor, volunteer. If you can't volunteer, donate. If you can't donate, educate."

As a foster-based rescue, the more foster families we have the more dogs we can rescue. Not only is it a great way to get your puppy fix, it's 100% free for you! We provide all food, supplies, and medical care.

We are also constantly looking for dedicated volunteers. All skills and talents are welcomed and appreciated! Our needs range from driving dogs (like Uber, but better) to helping us orchestrate adoption events and lots in between.

And lastly, donations are always needed and incredibly appreciated. Every last penny goes to saving dogs in need."

Make sure to listen in and then follow Do Over Dogs at @do_over_dogs on Instagram and on Facebook at Do Over Dogs. Also make sure to visit their website at www.dooverdogs.com to see how you can volunteer, support, and adopt one of their sweet dogs!

Remember there is no act of kindness too small!
